明天就是鬼門開的日子，但讀者們可知道，根據農民曆算法，今天的晚上11時就已經算是明天，也就是7月28日的11時鬼門就已經打開。民俗專家江柏樂接受《三立新聞網》專訪表示，「這一天有五個生肖犯沖，分別是牛、雞、猴、羊、馬，最好早點回家，不要夜遊，才能保平安。」
江柏樂表示，明日不僅是鬼門開，在農民曆上也是非常不好的日子，僅宜祭祀、出行、交易、畜稠，忌作造、安葬、動土、作樑、筏木、掘井、破土、移徙，這種情況下，出意外的機會特別高。
他說，鬼門開之後，所有的好兄弟都會出來包括「家屬鬼魂、孤魂野鬼」，會到處討吃的，在當日夜遊，卡煞、卡陰的機率特別高，容易讓自己身體不舒服，所以切忌到河邊、溪邊、湖邊、海邊戲水，特別容易出意外。
江柏樂進一步說明，鬼月是採農民曆計算，所以子時（晚間11時~隔天凌晨1時）就算是鬼門開，建議大家盡量在11點前回家。
明天正沖的生肖有26歲、86歲「牛」，全天都要特別留意行車安全、意外發生；另，時煞的生肖有54~57歲的「雞、猴、羊、馬」，犯到時煞的時間為「子丑寅卯」也就是（晚間11時~隔天上午7時），也要特別留意自身安全。
他指出，除了上述忌諱外，鬼月期間，曾經發生命案、車禍、溺斃的現場，奉勸大家最好不要去，如果運勢特別低迷，到了現場，容易被好兄弟影響，也就是俗稱的「抓交替」，例如新北市新店的碧潭、淡水沙崙海水浴場、嘉義南潭，若真的要去，就盡量不要靠近水邊。
江柏樂說，鬼門開之後，雖然多數台灣的廟宇都不辦事，但神明為了不影響好兄弟在陽間享受供奉，通常也不會出廟宇，所以大家還是可以到廟裡拜拜，也可以帶著開過光的玉珮神像，到廟裡拜拜過火後配戴保平安。
