對於高向鵬傳出病逝，經紀人簡姐今日證實他已於昨（4）日上午離世，並透露家屬想低調處理。而據《三立新聞網》報導，白冰冰今上午受訪透露，稍早緊急致電給高向鵬兒子，對方回應，「白阿姨我正在忙，不好意思等下再回你。」她說，過去打給對方都立即接電話，應該真的在忙，就是大家所想的那樣。

白冰冰說，過去都透過高向鵬兒子了解高向鵬近況，醫師曾告知不會醒，但兒子並沒有放棄，一度有幫忙拿病歷詢問其他醫院，協助轉院，但對方都說因為是安養狀態，醫師都束手無策，認為轉院無意義。但孝順的兒子不願放棄，她也只能從旁協助，認為高向鵬跟兒子都很勇敢。
