瑪莎拉蒂(Maserati)以自己的開發能力，擺脫過去只能買他廠引擎的老二命運，經由自家研發團隊的努力，現役最強的Nettuno V6引擎誕生，並配置在MC20新世代超跑，車迷意外的是，原以為這具引擎已經發揮到極致，沒想到工程團隊藏得很深，把110匹馬力藏起來了。

以MC20為基礎開發賽道專用的Project24超跑，雖然承襲MC20的架構，Project24卻以更高的規格打造，全車採用碳纖維材質，達到極致輕量化的目標，總重量壓制在1,250公斤，搭配主動式空力系統，能產生強大的下壓力提升操控表現。

性能是Project24最大量點，雖然引擎與MC20相同，但是Project24的Nettuno V6引擎換上新的增壓器，透過工程師重新調校後，最大馬力從630匹暴增到740匹，這樣的動力能上打4.0升V8渦輪引擎，因此稱Project24為速度機器一點都不為過。
以賽車規格打造的Project24，有著FIA認證的燈具以及車艙的安全配備，有FIA 規格滅火器，FIA認證安全防滾架，座椅採用6點式帶；然而瑪莎拉蒂還是希望Project24可以在道路行駛，所以內裝配有空調，娛樂系統以及輔助系統車載鏡頭，由於產量只有62輛，已經受到超跑玩家的關注。
